Creative Director Celebrates 10 Years at Epicosity

Written by Epicosity Staff | June 30, 2025

When Luke Tatge joined Epicosity 10 years ago as a copywriter, he was searching for something new. He couldn’t have predicted that a simple LinkedIn message would launch more than a decade of career growth as a creative director at a company that offers creativity and community.

From day one, Luke was struck by the sense of belonging at Epicosity.

“The people here feel like family,” he reflected. “There’s just something about working side-by-side with folks you trust and respect.”

Luke credits the agency’s supportive environment for making him feel seen and valued.

“I’ve always felt leadership had my best interests at heart, and that’s rare," said Luke. "The mentorship and growth opportunities here helped shape me not just as a creative but as a person.”

Looking back, Luke remembers the agency’s early days, working out of a cramped first office where his desk was in the hallway and a game of Pig at the office basketball hoop was a daily ritual.

“I was there when we were bursting at the seams, making room for everyone however we could,” he recalls.

Being part of the move to the current office and witnessing the company’s transformation has been especially meaningful.

“It’s wild to see how far we’ve come — from that small, tight-knit group to the vibrant, growing team we have today. Being a part of that journey is something I really value.”

Over the years, Luke has watched Epicosity evolve — but that sense of camaraderie and mutual support has stayed the same. What kept him around was more than just comfort — it was a sense of belonging and trust.

Through mentorship and opportunity, Luke went from learning the ropes to helping shape the agency’s culture and creative vision.

Supporting the Community

When it came time to choose a charity for his anniversary donation, Luke knew exactly where he wanted to make an impact. He selected Spotlight Theatre Company, a local nonprofit dedicated to giving kids a chance to shine on stage and build confidence in themselves.

“They do such a good job of building confidence in kids and helping them find their people and community,” Luke shared.

Luke’s appreciation for the arts goes beyond performance — it’s about helping kids grow into well-rounded individuals.

“From knowing alumni and people who teach in the program, I can see the difference Spotlight makes," explained Luke. "They create a place where kids can step away from screens, interact face-to-face and really connect. That kind of experience can be life-changing, especially in a world where it’s so easy to feel isolated.”

The donation will help Spotlight Theatre Company continue to provide classes, camps and stage productions for a wide range of ages, as well as scholarships for underserved youth.

“I love that they’re focused on reaching kids who might not otherwise get the opportunity. Supporting their mission just felt like a no-brainer to me,” Luke said.

A Gift for the Journey

As part of Epicosity’s tradition for a decade at the agency, Luke also received a special monetary gift to celebrate his decade with the team.

“Epicosity’s generosity has made it possible for my family to continue our parenting journey, which has been challenging. It’s a huge help to us," he explained. "We've had to embark on non-traditional pathways in our very long family-building process, so this is incredibly impactful."

Looking to the Future

Reflecting on 10 years of change and growth, Luke is excited for the future.
