Vice President of Operations Celebrates 10 Years at Epicosity

Written by Epicosity Staff | August 11, 2025

Heather Covrig was not a newbie to marketing when Epicosity leadership asked her to join the team as a senior account executive.

She brought years of experience and expertise to the table. With her journalism and marketing degree from SDSU and experience at Paulsen Marketing and Tallgrass Public Relations, Heather already had a knack for managing clients, juggling projects and delivering results.

“I’ve never worked anywhere so flexible with family and work life,” said Heather. “You work hard, you play hard and you’re constantly challenged. Plus, the leadership here is always looking for ways to grow and innovate — it’s exciting to be part of that journey.”

From her account executive role, the team recognized her strengths as she moved quickly up to director of client services, vice president of client services and finally to her current position as vice president of operations.

“It was such a natural progression,” Heather said. “Working in client services gave me a touchpoint in every part of the process — from sales to execution — which really helps me understand operations inside and out.”

Let’s reflect on Heather’s time at Epicosity so far. To celebrate, Epicosity offered her a reward up to $5,000 value, five additional paid days off and support for a charity of her choice.

Queen of Client Relations

From the very beginning, Heather has been a cornerstone in managing some of Epicosity’s longest-standing client relationships.

In fact, her very first week on the job was anything but ordinary — she dove straight into a tradeshow, taking over and other clients from Epicosity’s co-founder, Eric, so he could focus on running the agency.

“It was a whirlwind start,” Heather laughs, “but it set the tone for the fast-paced, exciting environment I’ve loved ever since.”

Over the years, Heather’s ability to build trust and maintain lasting partnerships has become one of her trademarks.

“These relationships aren’t just business — they’re personal. I still check in with past clients just to say hi, even if we’re not working together on a project anymore,” she said.

Some clients have been with her for as long as she’s worked here.

Giving Back: Children's Home Society

As part of Epicosity’s thank you for her dedication so far, the company is able to contribute to a charity of Heather’s choice. She chose the Children’s Home Society, an organization she feels passionate about.

Her connection there is both personal and professional, as her husband has been a volunteer. Additionally, Heather said the current marketing team lead at the home taught her everything she knows about client services.

“They do incredible work for kids and families,” Heather explained. “Knowing the people there, hearing their stories — it makes supporting them even more meaningful.”

A Trip to Remember

To celebrate the milestone, Heather used her anniversary gift to help take her family on their first cruise — a seven-day Royal Caribbean adventure out of Port Canaveral with stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

“It was amazing,” she said. “We didn’t over-plan — just relaxed, snorkeled, saw the sights, and spent time together. We even went mostly offline, which was so refreshing.”

Whether lounging on Caribbean beaches, exploring local shops or catching onboard shows, the trip offered something for each member of the family.

Looking to the Future

In her current role, Heather is focused on big-picture initiatives, from AI integration to security compliance, all while supporting Epicosity’s continued growth.

From her first week — diving headfirst into tradeshow — to her leadership role today, Heather’s decade with Epicosity is marked by adaptability, mentorship and a commitment to both her team and her community.

And as for the future? Heather’s ready to keep making waves — on land and, occasionally, at sea.
