The Challege

Creating an identity and unique calling cards from within a large university system takes careful adherence to standards while striking out singularly enough to grab attention. Several of UNL’s college sought ways to accomplish this in their program promotion efforts.

 

The Solution

Epicosity maintains a long-term strategic partnership with the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, collaborating across the central University Communications team, individual colleges and specific academic programs.

Working alongside UNL cohorts in the engineering, communication studies and MBA areas, Epicosity developed hyper-focused audience segments and variable messaging, leveraging the macro UNL brand to achieve attention on micro UNL colleges and programs.

The Work

Our work spanned both broad awareness initiatives and targeted enrollment marketing, all while operating within UNL’s rigorous brand governance framework. At the outset of each engagement, we aligned closely with UNL’s brand leadership to clarify messaging standards, creative boundaries and audience priorities.

From awareness campaigns to highly customized academic promotions, we adapted our workflow and deliverables to match the goals, resources and review processes of each participating unit.

Our strategists developed motion-graphic digital advertising that got to the heart of what it means to be a UNL student, and our work with the communication studies team yielded a specialized messaging strategy to assist in their storytelling efforts.
